Ana was born in Macao to her Chinese mother and Portuguese father, and grew up between Portugal and Macao. Ana grew up cooking with her parents, being introduced to different flavours from the East and West. The Chinese way of eating head-to-tail and the Portuguese warm, vibrant and spicy Mediterranean cuisine. Since being in London, Ana has built a career within the food & beverage sector and brings her industry knowledge and refined palate to the brand.
Emily was born and raised in London to a Chinese-Malay/Thai father and British mother. Growing up in Soho meant Emily spent a lot of her childhood in Chinatown, where dim sum would become a ritual. Emily’s father was also a great cook, having been passed down many family recipes from his own mother, and Emily would often watch in awe as he created each meal. Her mother was also a great cook, and she also grew up with a great combination of East and West flavours. Emily’s experience lies within PR & Marketing, and over the last 20 years she has worked across fashion, music, design & architecture, art and food, bringing her years of experience in nurturing brands to Two Hot Asians.
